No...I shower!

Is tonight's BBC1 announcer new? she doesn't sound very 'BBC1', she sounds like she would be more at home on BBC3 or ITV2

we never got her in scotland

She has been around for a few weeks now and I am not too keen on her announcing style either.

I think I'm correct in saying she is the CA who introduced the new series of TopGear as being 'exclusive to BBC One'.

That little faux pas is mentioned in this week's Radio Times by David Butcher when he talks about how much he loves the show. And he said, BBC1 would love to have the show.

She is dreadful - certainly not good enough for primetime Saturday Night BBC1.

She sounds like a BBC Three announcer to me, her style doesn't work for me, but she could improve.

I've heard her on many occasions on BBC Two, and she is quite bad... sounds a bit rushed

I think she needs to calm down and then she'll be better.

I am surprised as the BBC Announcers are normally of a high standard yet she sounds totally out of place - her style and pace is just not suited to BBC One.

How on earth she passed any audition process is beyond me.

Did anyone happen to capture the intro to 'This Week' on Thursday night? I'm told the announcer did a spoof 'This is the BBC from London' message, due to the WWII references in the programme itself, but I missed the first 10 minutes of the programme!
