Just before Homes Under the Hammer today, the announcer said "Now Homes Under the Hammer from 2006" he also said it on another programme on Friday saying "With house prices from 2007" Is this because they've had complaints from viewers about the prices?
They never used to do this before.

I've noticed that on some property repeats they put a caption up talking about the prices being correct in 2005. It probably makes sense to point it out.

I've noticed Channel 5 also do this with things like House Doctor.

The credit squeeze is going but will the guidelines go as well? As Charlie Brooker rightly pointed out current guidelines means that we don't get the Dad's Army/Are You Being Served kind of ending, or the jokey scene played over the end credits like we used to.

From that POV segment, as posted on YouTube, it sounds like things will be reverting to a hybrid of the current setup and the previous BBC2-4 state of affairs - still nothing "important" over the credits, and it'll still be squeezed, just not to quarter-screen levels. My bet would be half-screen, top/bottom.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/credits/ HASN'T been changed in any way.

But isn't it currently a new series of The Gadget Show on 5?

I guess they are just making it ready to sell to Bravo or repeat on Fiver at a later date. Probably cheaper to put the disclaimer on now than do it later.

Footy's fallen off air... the usual BBC One apology caption with the radio commentary on at the moment.

The commentary team on Five Live sounded surprised to be heard on BBC1. Laughing

Ideal opportunity to show off listening to the radio on your TV set me thinks. Exactly how it would look as well with the digital radio stations Smile
Anyway obviously totally unexpected to lose the feed in that fashion, scrambled picture for a good few minutes.

Not sure why, but while the apology was up it switched to 14:9 for a few seconds, with the sound very slightly quieter, and a couple of white dots at the extreme left of the picture about level with the first line of the text.

May have been regional I guess.
