MG and other articles about the rebrand state that there will be around 16 idents in total.

I just think that it's really stupid to stop at any number. They should just add a couple to the set every so often to keep it fresh. Before the robotic 2's there were at least 30 different 2 idents. It must be a cost thing, but I think that only having 16 is very weird.

Just seen a promo on BBC News for a BBC One programme and the end board was the 'one' written in a serif font, used for the programmes logo, but I can not remember title.

The title had 'one' in the name and moved to where the usual 'one' would be on the end board while the red background and BBC logo faded on.

That sounds like the trailer for Bonekickers. I spotted it earlier this week and thought it was very creative.

That would be "Bonekickers" . Here shown with bonus ticker left running on the BBC NC all the way through the weather and promos.

hm sounds like they're more like brand films as opposed to idents...

I'm a TV dunce would that be brand films for BBC One like they did with that guy jumping over rooftops for the Rhythm & Movement era?

but as they're making quite a few of these brand films, i thought they would be more linked to idents...but looks like they're longer!

Well if it helps to reinforce the identity of the channel then it's all good. So are these for BBC1 or BBC2?

the brand films are for bbc two...sorry i added it on my message about the bbc one idents that are coming up - really it should be on the bbc two thread...!

Thank you for clarifying. Such a shame about BBC2 their current idents are getting old fast.

i loathe the bbc two idents...particularly the cappucino and rooftop ones...but i can't see them going for a while yet.

good news about the additional bbc one idents though. they look great

(though neon always reminds me of the lux ad...a bit too similar for my liking..)
