Somebody's chucked in some Gill Sans?

Hmm... I also spotted a BBC2 trailer using Gill Sans the other day - maybe it's only to be used on cross-channel trailers, like Euro 2008, which is advertising 1, HD and Radio 5 Live?

Just a thought.

I still like Gill Sans, and I never understood why all the channels had to abandon it and have their own fonts, especially the lowercase "one" for BBC One. It all looks so...untidy I suppose. I guess I'm being boring for having a generic look across all the channels, but I liked how it was in 1991, and again in 1997.

Whose on continuity duties tonight for both BBC1 and 2? They sound new thats all.

Duncan's on One not sure about 2 though.

Thats what I mean and if I dare say it, sounds like a trainee. Is there a strike on at Red Bee or has Duncan gone off ill?

If it's the same one I heard read out the lotto numbers after the news, she didn't sound like your 'typical' BBC voice(If there is such a thing?).

Weird, I swear I heard Duncan before Doctor Who..

One programme i havent seen in a while on BBC One is Test the Nation. Will that be on our screens soon now that GrAYham Norton and his bunch of Nancies have finished??

You may well be right, my all evening comment referred to DR Who onwards, only tuned in half way through it, so assumed same female announcer was on all the time.
