Currently my fave is Kites.
The audio from the previous Dancers was better still overall - Ballet, Skaters and Acrobats were great, and I also liked the original version of Tumbler that was hastily scrapped by everywhere but Scotland.

People were referring to the soundtracks to the idents, not the idents themselves.

Exactley and even if you were talking about the music, it was rubbish aswell. The whole era of 2002-2006 of bbc1 was a compleate disaster and i think quite a few people agree.
Now a lot of people also agree that the curreent set of idents are not perfect but they have certanly put the heritage back to bbc1 and i think its only a matter of time before the circle evolves back into a globe

I must admit the music was the only saving grace with the dance idents. However, with regard to the question of the globe ever returning I think the damage has been done; because the globe has already been dropped it's unlikely anyone in BBC Marketing would want to be seen to "go backwards", as it were. That said, the circle theme offers the easiest back door for it to sneak back in.

Have you noticed that a globe is in fact round, inded circular? Therefore, you don't need astronauts flying round it in order to follow the theme?

thats what i was saying
they could have one with austranauts flying around in space then forming a circle aroung earth(globe)
that would be a back door entry/comeback wouldnt it
