Did anyone see BBC1 London last night (I think) when they cut to the BBC London news at 6:30?

Something went wrong and they ended up cutting to it and the studio crew could be heard shouting "studio on" or something like that.

Did anyone manage to capture it to upload?

It was this one, but it seems they've cut the beginning bit off.

And there was a problem on the outside live piece about the travel disruption. Someone came on screen and was making a bit of a scene.

What a beautiful apology. Visually, I mean.

Agreed, very nice use of the BBC logo, nice and 3D.

Poor female announcer on this lunchtime on BBC1 - I don't remember hearing her before - anyway her diction was terrible during the cross promotion to a Bug's Life which is an 'hanimated adventure' apparently.

This evenings local news was billed at 1855 but started at 1848 - just a little bit early. I imagine it will be finished by 1856 ready for The One Show to start early as ever.

The One Show strangely seems to be live being a Bank Holiday. Surely they could have pre-recorded on Friday or something. I'm expecting some kind of 'Best Of' show in the near feture, re-using some of the reports from the past year, would save them all coming into work on a Bank Holiday!

The BBC now roll out almost an identical schedule to a standard weekday. Hardly much creativity or thought in them anymore.

At least there'll be special Doctor Who though - that is when it'll be on isn't it?

I get quite disappointed at usual bank holiday schedules. after all, for many people it is a well deserved off work and lots of people might just want to have a relaxing day at home chilling out watching films. Not every one is a shopaholic muppet who wants to waste the day in shopping centres!

with regard to Doctor Who, I believe there will be a Christmas special this year as normal (rumoured to be set in Victorian Times and features Cybermen), and three specials next year. My money is for them to be shown as such:

One on Easter Saturday/Sunday next year,
One on August Bank Holiday and
One on Christmas Day as usual.
