on this website it's says the bbc are making a new daytime diy show. is this on bbc one? & is it to compete with 60 min?

I don't think this has been mentioned but BBC One idents won several awards including Best On Air Branding at Promax Europe.

BBC One-Magic Forest won a silver, Penguins won a gold award for Best Animation with Neon winning silver in the same category.

I'm probably a bit late off the mark here, but did anyone manage to get a recording of the BBC One announcer before EastEnders the other evening?

I think it was Duncan that night, and a vacuum cleaner was heard in the background. He shouted at them to stop doing that, then it cut to the opening scene in EastEnders where someone was vacuuming. Genius. Laughing

Is it just me or has BBC continuity (especially on One) become a lot more creative over the past year or so? They've had people in the background, sound effects, little dialogues between announcers... It's a nice touch.

Well now owan should be pleased [or am I thinking of someone else?] that BBC Wales on 1 have decided to mark Cardiff's efforts towards the FA Cup this day

I notice the announcer carefully noted that following the long Wales Today, the now transmitting One Show is recorded, lest any trouble of course arise.
