Not sure if anyone noticed this tonight on The Apprentice - but I do believe a piece of music they used when the teams were working in the Shopping Mall was the same as used on the BBC One Chirstmas Ident from a few years back - the one with the children climbing up the ramp that went around the Christmas Tree.

If it's the music I think you mean, the song was "A New Beginning" by Good Charlotte. In the one you're thinking of, you can hear children singing the old BBC One theme. They do sound similar, though!

Error on BBC1 Scotland - don't know if it affected other areas. The 'next' slide came up with the news and the programme after that, the v/o started with "It's the 1'o'clo..." and then stopped suddenly. Don't know if it was a central timing issue or just another Glasgow screw-up.

Just as I was reading about their Commonwealth Games howler on the internet as well... Rolling Eyes

I noticed it too. They don't normally do a 'Coming up' on BBC One Scotland for the One O'Clock News (BBC News at One?) which was strange in itself.

They didn't say the name of the newsreader during the news announcement either.

Reporting Scotland isn't exactly glitch-free either. A lot of stumbling and the presenter heard talking over one of the lives.

South East had a dodgy ident into the 1 O'clock. Background music louder than v/o and stop-started.

They quite often have these sort of problems... it really bugs me that they can't just get it right most of the time. I know TV has its problems, but its quite frequent tht it happens

Lovely little graphic just then after I'd Do Anything, with the spinning BBC blocks, publicising the competition code website, no less!

Very similar to the new generic BBC ident, but white and grey instead of blue.

Yeah it does look nice. It's been running for a good few weeks now.
