Just aired a golden bauble "Winning Weekend" ident! That was unexpected. Does this suggest that we may get "Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day" in the festive font on idents aired on those days?

But then it's the Strictly Come Dancing Final, Sports Personality of the Year 2016 and The Apprentice final this weekend? Might be for that.

Yes. I realise that. But they have never highlighted it in this way before - and it's been a regular thing for years. I was just surprised to see a good use of the festive font.

Nice to see Daily Politics is keeping up-to-date with the BBC One Christmas pres - the photo in that tweet is from the Christmas 2012 package!

Saw The Doctors A Christmas Carol earlier, enjoyed it thoroughly, felt like "Classic TV" with its limited props and black stage. Honestly should get a repeat closer to Christmas.

SCD also has a winning weekend sting which Aires before the ident. Has anyone sported the Third one?

Oneness... sounds like something a marketing think tank would come up with... then decide to use forever...
