BBC One 2016 Christmas Presentation

Well that wasn't worth the wait. No wonder it was kept top secret.

I do like the animation at the beginning of the trail though out of the "o", but it doesn't work as well at the end of the trails or on the ident.

Seen the first 'proper' ident.

If it's going to be the same blokes with their trendy beards all the time, then they will get very annoying after a short while.

Hmmm.

Even that green creature was better than this. Bring back the 2014 Christmas trees.

A man in the pub with a Christmas jumper is a bit meh.

This whole circle thing is stupid now. It needs to go.

I liked it. I rarely complain about Christmas idents, except when we don't see them! But, it was fun and it was festive. What more could you expect from it? There was at least, no celebrities.

Is anybody else really not keen on 'Oneness'? I just find it to be a bit awkward, and not catchy in the slightest.

The ident is definitely something you could imagine ITV using.

The reaction to this first ident, coupled with the palaver over the same sex kiss in the other thread, is more fascinating than the actual pres package. 'Gay kiss', hipsters etc. This place doesn't like progress and/or modernity.

I love the trailers and I like the first ident. Well done BBC.
