In the bald guy snoring wearing Christmas hat one, are the family watching BBC One on the telly? Cause I noticed the endboard in the background.

Yes, a non-Christmassy promo endboard!

The current ones that were introduced as part of 'Enjoy 2015' and are now in regular use since the start of this year. I take it that it could have been filmed last month or even October, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure if you Tweet one of the actors involved they'll tell you.

Would have been a nice touch to put a 2016 Christmas graphic on the telly, but I'd have thought they wouldn't have been ready for the filming

I must say - I quite like the trail endboards and the ECPs. Especially with the colour scheme.

The only part I like.

It's the only bit they spent money on.

Maybe they have spent all the money on brand new 2017 idents and could not justify that much expense on these final circle Christmas idents.

I wish I could believe that. I really do. But somehow, I think we'll have either the same tired old idents next year, or a newer but inferior brand package.

I do declare these the worst Christmas ident in the history of the BBC.

The first post of yours I absolutely agree with.

See, it's bringing people together already. And isn't that what Christmas is all about?

Christmas Pudding is here...

All in all, just as good, if not, better than the bauble. Reflects the festive season the most.

So far as it's concerned it's four idents. Favourite one is Christmas Pudding - while the Hat ident is unimaginative and generic.

They are putting the BBC One logo in the middle in an apparent attempt to align it up the to circular object behind the logo.

Would have worked much better if they had just done away with focusing on an object and just had the background.

I think that the BBC are emphasising on the 'O' now rather than being predominantly about the circle. I have no issue with the BBC One being centred over the main focal point because I, like most other people, have got used to the BBC One logo being in the centre.
