Not much else I can say about them really...

In conclusion, I think most of the disappointment comes from being spoilt by the BBC in the past, and we know that they can do so much better. But at least it's not a f***ing static red curtain.

If the red curtain had opened up to reveal these I'm glad they kept it shut.

very underwhelming. in themselves, not bad little films, just... dull.

i suppose this tells us..., all of us who want bbc one to re-brand... be careful what you wish for... somebody with a big desk and big pay packet signed these off... it's sad that the best of bbc pres is well and truly behind it.

Following this - I think we have to take any kind of rebrand for ONE and TWO with a grain of salt.

Let's just hope they spent all their money on a fantastic BBC wide rebrand in the New Year and then realised they had no money left for Christmas.

If it does come down to money though and we have seen everything they have to offer it's a huge waste spending on the trailer and trying to be John Lewis when actually the trailers full of clips from shows are just as effective, and presentation wise it's the idents rather than the trailers which will certainly be remembered more and IMO are more likely to be noticed.

The foretold kebab shop centred one hasn't been broadcast yet, so buckle up and get ready for that kids.

I suspect they paid quite a bit for Christmas considering they used an ad agency to make the promos and idents for them.

The Kebab shop has been seen already in the initial film. But the "Routemaster" Bus passenger one?

In the grand scheme though of what they're spending on Christmas content I suspect the costs will be quite insignificant.

They might as well really just do a Planet Earth and take a clip from each of their key shows and slap a O down on it.

They could have Hillbillie music as the soundtrack and have an 'O'Down!

This thread is awfully depressing, and very little of that to do with the idents.
