Looks like you're lucky, as a search for "#Strictly sound" on twitter suggests quite a few people have been affected.

Yep. It was an issue with me. Worse on Freeview than on Freesat.

Little insert before Casualty looked to be still out of sync as well. It was weird, it seemed worse at some times than others - sound up to half a second in advance of video, I'd say.

With the Circles era just notching past a decade, here's a cutting I kept about the then-forthcoming new era from The Radio Times, 7-13 October 2006.

Note the bottom paragraph, where they estimate the new era's on-screen use will last approximately 4 years. What little they knew!

Well, the balloons and dancers both lasted around four years, so they thought this set would last the same period. Never mind that the two previous ones (the 1985 and 1991 idents) had each lasted about six years, and BBC Two's last two ident sets had lasted five years (yellow) and ten years (1991 set).

Nice endboard in Trish Deseine's Christmas Dishes Trail.

Call the Midwife is going nowhere. Recommissioned for 3 series. 8x60 and three Christmas specials.

I've always thought he'd be a decent host for that show. He should present it sometime.

I'm surprised he hasn't become the regular Friday host by now...

Unless he earns more hosting Friday night company corporate dinners.
