I do find it funny how BBC One are essentially plugging the Wales game on itv tomorrow night, in terms of the ident, the continuity announcement before EastEnders tonight and the special "Road to the Semi-Finals" programme as well.
You're missing the bigger picture. It's not just an national event for Wales and indeed the whole of the UK, it's a once in a lifetime event and real moment of national pride for Wales.
The BBC is covering the tournament as whole and it's within the BBCs interests for ITV to get a huge audience tomorrow as they are joint rights holders and hope to be for many tournaments to come. The BBC will have radio commentary on three radio stations and highlights on the night. They'll also have the final which will get the biggest audience on the Beeb which could well feature Wales.
As for the 'Road to the Semi-Finals' programme they'll just utilising the rights they have and yes they have the other semi-final live.
So Mr Lee please explain whats funny about it?
Nothing's funny about it. You're right. I'm wrong.

Here's the promo that puts the Welsh continuity on Network into context...
" I'd recommend knocking through this wall to create one big kitchen diner"
" I'd recommend French windows it would really open up this room"
I hope Dion adopts her catchphrases
. She probably quit a year ago but it's only been announced now she's done filming. Maybe she didn't like the fact Dion Dublin was added to the presenting team.
She left because of a commercial opportunity according to her twitter. Seems similar to James Martin who left Saturday Kitchen to be the face of ASDA. (BBC has very strict rules about this)

This passed me, I'm surprised he had the courage to give the show up, giving that he was using it to feed his own ego.

I was able to check ( because its the same time) Scotland really are just omitting the other two versions. Scotland just seems to like the sting with the ball girl in it.
Been confirmed that BBC One will have a BBC News Special tomorrow afternoon. Just been confirmed by the announcer that tomorrow's daytime programmes will move to BBC Two.
It's unclear when the BBC News Special will begin as I presume they shall be covering PMQ's therefore they will be on the air before 1pm.
