But that was the character and not the programme's title. Over the years the character has credited as 'Dr. Who', 'Doctor Who' and 'The Doctor' (the latter at Peter Davison and David Tennant's insistence) - the programme itself, however, has always officially been 'Doctor Who'.

Now is anyone going to be pedantic enough to point out that they ought to be using the Crown of Scotland? Smile
Richard and Hatton Cross gave kudos

Such a shame surrounding OSP creativity on both BBC channels has devolved into replacing a letterform "O" with a ciricular/sort of circular object, the epitome of unoriginality.

If Time And Relative Dimension In Space can become TARDIS in capital letters and be pronounced as a word, then we should be allowed to call the porgramme Dr Who.

The last minute of EastEnders tonight was replaced by a static image of the BBC One 90 second news update sting before formation. Only the final minute of EastEnders in audio could be heard, including the theme tune. Duncan Newmarch continued to make announcements as normal with no acknowledgement of the technical hitch.

Falling standards at the BBC when not even the continuity staff are paying the least bit of attention to the output.

You can't expect BBC continuity staff to be subject to such harsh conditions as having to actually watch EastEnders.

Probably because, just like me, he didn't see it. Possibly no-one in any region other than yours had the problem.

I see the Beeb have nabbed the rights to Gogglebox and taken it posh.

Were you watching on HD? In the past the HD channel has had faults when the SD channel was fine

I watched on BBC One HD (England) and had no issue with EastEnders.
