What the deal with the car?

Erm, I don't get this, and the car's always been there.

Ive never spotted that car before!

I was referring to the size and placement of the 'Channel Islands' legend. Funnily enough, they managed to get it right at Christmas.

Don't know if i'm missing something obvious... but what's wrong with it exactly? I can't see any issue with the text.

I think it looks uncomfortably close to the "one" on the Christmas ident. The new one looks better IMO.

A comparison between the 'new' Channel Islands legend and a typical NE & Cumbria legend. The Forest ident was recorded last year and, believe it or not, was the original '07 version so that makes it obvious which one is correct (in terms of consistency).


Close? Maybe. Consistent? Absolutely.

I still think it looks fine though, in fact, I think the slightly bigger gap looks better.

If this lack of consistency bugs you, I highly recommend you don't watch BBC Two.
