The progromme Hugh war on waste is not being networked, and is only being broadcast in England at that time, the rest of the nations I believe are putting it out elsewhere, but the strange thing is I have yet to see ANY promos for this programme from the nations. Are there hoping to push it out without telling anyone?

Ah, I see.

Wales is airing the programme at the same time as the collective BBC ONE 'England', whereas Northern Ireland and Scotland are broadcasting Hugh's War on Waste at 22:35 and 23:05 respectively, explaining the lack of regionally-branded trails (in Northern Ireland and Scotland, at least - I have spotted a Welsh trail).

I cant remember the last time, this happened, ( this has happened before but not often. ) where the nations tried not to inform viewers of certain programmes.

I don't think that it's their fault this time, considering that the apple's sticker also advertises the time of the programme in England and Wales.

NI don't celebrate the 5th November/Guy Fawkes Night, so that's probably why it is on NI now (as fireworks are associated with Hallowe'en, especially in NI) and you'll probably see it next week on other region leading up to 5th Nov.

Ireland wasn't ruled by England until 1801, so a celebration from the 17th century is irrelevant there.

And yet there is one particular 17th century event that is still celebrated to this day...! Certain members of the community wouldn't take too lightly to it being referred to as irrelevant though! Laughing
