Who cares? Why are you trying to track which particular stings are used in particular nations and regions, and at what time?

Can I respectfully suggest that the BBC iPlayer on the website allows you to effectively roll the feed back two or three programmes and see the continuity?
But to answer your question: Network used the Doctor Who ident that's mashed with the Capes ident (the one that gives the impression Dr Who has hijacked the broadcast)., but couldn't see any sign of the sting anywhere on the junctions between tonight's programmes so it would appear the only Dr Who themed "presentation" is the ident, on the evening anyway.

Last week IIRC it appeared in the morning's continuity, but not before the programme itself.

If my calculations are correct, we have just passed another milestone - the circle idents have now been with us longer than the balloons and the dancers

Indeed. They have been with us now since Saturday 7th October 2006.

Does this then make them the longest identity package BBC1 has had in its history?
From what I can tell... Yes it is.

I think so. It's quite remarkable to think how long they've lasted... and no sign of any changes soon, either. Not that it would be in the BBC's interest to change the presentation package now what with charter renewal (or not) underway.

I wonder if they'd get away with "doing a BBC Two" and reinstating the balloons. I imagine they still look good enough for today's eyes and they still have the red theme (albeit with orange).
