I'm sure I read somewhere that the BBC's idents package etc are to be refreshed in November (though I could be wrong)...the channels need a makeover now in my opinion.

Did I dream this? Shocked Embarassed

A rebrand would not be the wisest decision just before Charter renewal. I think it must have been a dream.

The BBC seem to be obsessed with homes, auctions, antiques and cheap gameshows for daytime. Try something new! Hardly a shake-up!

I think at the moment the BBC has a reasonable variety of daytime programmes. Going back in time I can recall when mornings contained a lots of cooking programmes, and another period when there were lots of DIY/makeover programmes.

Just sounds like a couple of new programmes, nothing out of the ordinary.

It's interesting that 6pm on BBC2 is classed as part of daytime.

BBC Daytime is also responsible for the 7pm BBC2 slot.

Did anyone else catch that slightly wacky promo during the credits of EastEnders about robots doing the job of a continuity announcer.

I thought the continuity on the end of EastEnders was brilliant tonight!

It was a lot better than the usual CA "jokes."
