2009, really? There's no budget to make a new trailer design that they can use for the next five years?

2009 was a terrible year for BBC presentation in general

Yeh, it's particularly revolting. The BBC One and Two brands don't work alongside each other well... or at all, so the solution was just to slap on the two boxes. They used the old BBC1 box one year and I can pretty much nailed on guarantee they used the wrong BBC2 box on another occasion too, so clearly not much thought or care for it.

It's actually formatted in the 2007 BBC2 trail style, but the kerning and that awful text outline are Nas-ty - and proof that the trailer doesn't do it's job properly.

Either fly a drone-cam over Chelsea or cut away to an endboard, it's not hard.

At the start of BBC One videos on YouTube I note that there's a slightly peculiar BBC One logo animation at the beginning of the video. It doesn't look like anything seen on screen:

That looks like the main animation on the idents but in reverse. Would have taken all of 5 mins, But I kind of like it. Wish BBC One would try a different colour.

Just the ident animation backwards, innit?

A slightly interesting choice for the schedules tonight of The Vicar of Dibley, if only for it being in 4:3.

Looking at the schedules, it's being repeated in a weekly slot, Friday's at 8.30.

The Vicar of Dibley remains one of those comedies that the BBC like to repeat now and again, last time being at Christmas.

Similar to Only Fools and Horses, One Foot in the Grave and Keeping Up Appearances which all still get airings in spits and spats.
