Im a right in saying BBC Scotland are using the network version?

From what I recorded, it was played out without the Scotland tag. I just wondered if it was the network feed shown by mistake?

It was only played out twice on Scotland it seems. It was never seen again after 4pm. I get the feeling there was no Scottish version made.

Why would there be? It's an English occassion so no reason for it to be on the other nations.

BTW, these stings are just getting worse and worse. Just because they can doesn't mean they should, especially when they look this cheap. It's a shame that they didn't concentrate their efforts on just expanding the idents which aired alongside them in January rather than creating stings for pretty much every occassion.

Yet there were four versions made for the nations for St David's and St Patrick's Day. Maybe it's just the usual PC nonsense so as not to offend anyone else by slapping another nation's name on an English symbol.

I don't think they're getting worse at all. I think it's very inventive and quite fun. It also keeps us lot guessing what they'll do next. It livens up the otherwise motionless logo.

As it's not been seen since at least 5pm yesterday afternoon on Network, if anyone has a high quality video of the London Marathon sting to share, I'd be very grateful.

Wasn't it shown this morning just before the ident leading into the 10am coverage on BBC One?

Ah, thanks for that! I saw the menu at the start of the junction, but as my video editing software is a bit jumpy on scanning, I saw the end of the Poldark trailer and then straight into the ident - missing the bit in between. Thanks again!

Did anyone else notice the three different menu styles used today? Expect for Scotland which opted for a Sport menu to promo todays footy stuff.

Would you elaborate, please?

No. The junction into the marathon used the regular World Cup/Sport ident.
(edit: Jumped the gun. Misread the question. Oops.)
