At least with the Scottish version its more readable. I do hope at some point a bumper turns up unlike that cat, mind you if you swapped the snow for rain it could make it a good April showers sting Recorders at the ready for today.

The Scottish version looks messy to me. "Today" doesn't appear to be aligned to anything else, and it looks unbalanced to say the least.

Yes, I noticed it on BBC2 NI, where Water also went out with clean audio, before Coast at 1:00pm - unusual (but always welcome!). Related problem(?).

Here's the BBC One NI complete junction. Looks like an automation failure - including several seconds of black screen towards the end before crashing into network.
