Interesting to see the differences in formatting when comparing Scotland to Network:

At least with the Scottish version its more readable. I do hope at some point a bumper turns up unlike that cat, mind you if you swapped the snow for rain it could make it a good April showers sting Wink Recorders at the ready for today.

The Scottish version looks messy to me. "Today" doesn't appear to be aligned to anything else, and it looks unbalanced to say the least.

Some sort of failure at BBC Northern Ireland at around 12.59 this lunchtime? Both BBC One (for 10 seconds) and BBC Two (for 7 seconds) were interrupted by the rotating BBC glass blocks animation which itself was quite jerky,

Yes, I noticed it on BBC2 NI, where Water also went out with clean audio, before Coast at 1:00pm - unusual (but always welcome!). Related problem(?).

Don't really understand why they've created all these stings yet only did two idents which ran for a month or so.

The Stings must be in house? Also one has to wonder if there will be kept for a few years, ie I think the idents are here to stay until 2017 .

Here's the BBC One NI complete junction. Looks like an automation failure - including several seconds of black screen towards the end before crashing into network.

You may have welcomed it... But I didn't! Wink

What's the official purpose for the spinning BBC cubes? They only ever seem to appear when something goes wrong. Is it a standby loop or something?

They appear on the clean feed to the nations when there isn't a programme on it
