Voice Menu just now, so I take it that is first proper outing?

Mind you Scotland did not use it. sticking with the CA favoute one, with a bumper right on the back off it.

In the North West, we had an awkward junction into the 6 tonight. Think it was the Kites ident, complete with regional designation. At first, no continuity and then there's a blip and we catch the very end of the network's continuity.

I assume regional versions of these idents don't exist?

Did you have permission to take them down?

Even the least festive people I knew lasted until the New Year with decorations.

Permission? From who?

623058, I'd pretend the menu was interesting but I expected nothing more. Just stings in miniature really Sad

2002 really was a crap year for pres wasn't it.

2002 was the year that got me into idents. Unfortunately, the contents of that year were so bad that it got me into it in such a negative way.

So yes, it was awful. And it's gone downhill ever since. 1999-2000 was the peak.

If I recall correctly, it also rained for most of the summer, at least here in the north west.

However I do distinctly remember watching the ITV1 "That's Entertainment" promo that launched the new national branding in October 2002 live as it went out at 9.25am, without knowing or realising it was anything particularly big (except for the fact that ooh ITV1 has a new logo!), so it's at least memorable for that.

Another person in your household, not the local council or similar.

No, I live alone. My street was quite mixed - some had blinding lights in their windows from the 1st onwards, while others had nothing.

VMPhil, I remember that promo very well. It's a shame ITV1 never got a strong identity (mind you, the one we've got now is no better).

Aren't network using the standard idents for news, not the 2015 ones?

Im sure it has swapped with the news.

Pointless has always been scheduled for before the news, the Telegraph guide today says it was scheduled for 5:20 and the News which also the announcer said was earlier then scheduled began at 18:05 instead of the original 18:10.

So the news was extended then.
