I have to wonder if Glasgow is keeping the Scottish string/menu back until later in the month, HINT HINT, thus making better use of the pres. Also I have yet to see Glasgow use the Non raven singing promo for the voice.

Am I alone in finding that Voice 'Raven' trail immensely irritating? Now that it has been aired for about the 1,000th time. Same goes for those FA Cup trails. And as for that generic Christmas trail that aired on BBC Two for about 3 or 4 weeks in nearly every junction - do the marketing people in London really believe we need to see the same 30/40 second trail a million times? It's infuriating!! Even with the number of channels available today, this level of repetition is ridiculous.
A suggestion: make about 3 or 4 different trails for a programme, adding at least a bit of variety - each being 10 or 15 seconds in duration. Short, snappy, impactful - get your message across. Stop boring us with these repetitive 30 second (and longer) trails.

STV does that with promo have a good number of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 1min version promos, and slot them in all over the place.

I've notice, Fight club, and Aviemore doc inbetween the river city promo.
I think that might have been only in Scotland, as I'm fairly the network used Kites (or at least I thought I heard that ident music play).
Overall I think these idents are a vast improvement on the usual 'Love...' idents we seem to get at this time of year. However they could have done with a 'news safe' ident in that style to provide some consistency in their use.

Dam it I just mist the ice skater by Glasgow. Why is it when you look its the tablet or footprint, if you dont look its a more interesting one.
