People actually watch BBC One in large numbers every single day though.

Like in a referendum as people fund the BBC shouldn't (we) have more say and have winning votes (accepted) if people in favor of bbc1+1 or opposed bbc3 move online ?

Seems suited top dogs do whatever they like no matter where funding comes from the tag line BBC you make it what it is ...is a lie!

What I'd really like to see with CBBC's extended hours is repeats of older shows - not Tracy Beaker Returns Again and Again and Again!

That was pretty much what I suggested on page 1. Show the oldies for the nostalgic grown ups after the kids have gone to bed. Byker Grove and Grange Hill being the most obvious examples.
Now we need to discuss what's the best place for it's big programmes to go to.

What big programmes? Of the ones it did have almost all been moved or cancelled.

Ah you're right. Except what happens to Family Guy for the remaining seasons it has, and for archive episodes? And what channel does the Eurovision semi-finals go to? Does 60 Seconds stay or go also?
Eurovision semis will likely end up on Red Button.

The voting semi can't. It has to be on a "proper" channel as part of the rules.

I'm sure they'll both end up on BBC2 - at the very least it's an easy way for them to say they're putting 4 hours of BBC3 content on the channel.
