On BBC Newsroom South East at 6:45pm the presenter usually says 'Still to come on the programme' and the headline clashing-drums are played. Then after showing what's coming up, a Newsroom South East sting is played, and then fades into the classic headline drums playing quietly in the background, eventually fading out. Does anyone like this?

I'm currently in Gatwick Airport - hello everyone!!

Yes, I do like it, as North West Tonight do a similar thing, except it has a different, special headline bed.

Changing the subject slightly, I read yesterday that the new London Live is now due to start in October, and is running on schedule, but the South East Today service for Kent, has had staff and equipment problems, but still due to start in September.

BTW: Have a nice time Robert if you're still reading Smile

It was mentioned on this forum when South East Today was due to start on 23rd July, that at the same time Newsroom South East would move out of Elstree and into Marylebone High Street, but initially would retain the old name and replicate the NSE look by using the CSO technique, until the London Live 'look' is ready, which presumably is October.
