Yes, News 24 did exactly the same as World. We heard Matthew Amroliwala and Jane Hill before Bush came on and then Gavin Esler at about 1703. BBC World heard Brian Hanrahan (who is presenting today instead of Nik Gowing) and then Gavin Esler.
Can anyone explain to me how come Asia Today on BBC World at 1630 was presented by Nisha Pillai, yet the World News bulletins this afternoon are with Brian Hanrahan?

Keshini's surname is Navaratnam! Interesting that - thanks! So Brian must have been on all afternoon. What are the presenter slot times harshy? They must have changed the presenters of Asia Today since September 1st as Philip Hayton did it then!

I'd like to see Adam Brooks presenting World - has anyone noticed what an excellent reporter Brooks' has been the last few weeks.
Why is the BBC News Special from Washington on at 2000 tonight? Is it going to be on again at 2100 like usual? I wish the BBC would keep it in the same slot each night, so I can watch them! How are we supposed to know when they are going to be, as they're not in the listings!

Yes that's her name!, as for the presentation times, i'm not totally sure as I don't get the chance to watch BBC World all day, but I reckon the presentation slots are in BST time 5.00am-8.00am, 8.00am-12.00pm, 12.00pm-4.00pm, 4.00pm-8.00pm and finally 8.00pm til 12 am, and then BBC News 24 takes over, I reckon i'm 80% right!
