I know there is one webcam for BBC Manchester
http://www.bbc.co.uk/manchester/webcams/cam3.htm Don't you all think BBC News should have a webcam for all newsrooms, including N6. It would be great to see what Huw or Anna do before going live!
What are your views

Huw Edwards putting on his lippy at 17.59/30?! - somehow I think the only cams in N6 should be the ones used for the programme.
East Midlands Today also has a snoop cam at http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastmidlandstoday/ and is updated more often than the North West studio one, I think it would be good to have a camera shot of the N6 news studio.
They would obviously have to delay it because (as in the words of Mr Edwards) 'We wouldn't want anyone commiting suicide of the stairs, WOULD WE?'

lol
Perhaps Mr Edwards WOULD consider suicide from the stairs if the press found out about this picture:
We have a camera in the News 24 output gallery so that visitors in the BBC experience can see what's going on. Same applies to 5 Live.

I actually spent an evening with the BBC Ten O'Clock News team in February for an article for our student newspaper. It was a brilliant experience and I sat in the gallery for both the Six and Ten O'Clock News.
I interviewed Michael Buerk and also saw what the presenters do when the cameras are not live - Michael Buerk was sending messages to the editor and watching, and laughing at, reports!

What did you interview Buerk and Edwards about?

Spoke to Huw Edwards for a newspaper for 8 - 13 year olds and Buerk for student newspaper about his work, life, etc. - also spoke to ten o'clock news editor about the change there and stuff...!

Talking of behind the scenes etc. Have any of you watched ITV News @ 10 and at the end Trevor McD talks to the person behind the camera, and leans back, I find that really annoying! (Huw does it now,
WHY
) IT'S SO TACKY!

I don't think that bbc news have camera operators anymore, but i may be wrong!
