in Manchester this coming week (July 2003)

As the original topic seems to have dropped off just a reminder that the BBC News on Tour stand is in Sunderland this weekend at the Air Show. I'm going up as are a fair few other BBC News people.
Also heading for Newquay and the Surf Festival the week after and to Manchester in August.

And don't forget News on Tour is in Newquay from Wednesday. Quite a lot of the 'big' names are due to make an appearance over the few days the tour is there.

There was a report on Breakfast this morning about the event, it looks as though its all taken place.

Sian Williams was instructing this girl who was struggling with basic english Rolling Eyes with lots of cheesy music and fake clappping. Huw Edwards was pointing, Jeremy Paxman waving and George Alagiah shaking his head.

Jenny Bond was live at the Newquay one.
