It looks odd & out of place to me now.

Nice guesses everyone, but here's the real reason!

Quite a nifty idea really!

Hey that does look pretty neat.

I thought BBC News was gonna display a HUGE logo like the one that's splashed across the Sky News desk.

But that's pretty clever...

Its kind of simillar to the past BBC Nine o'clock News where at the end it showed a picture representing the main headline

They are going to have to do something different (I think) with the sport report on Friday, as the red board interferes with where the 6 sport sidebar would go. I would look a bit naff to have the sidebar wall cream on one side and a red strip on the other. Perhaps instead of the sidebar they are going to use the plasma screen instead?

May be a good idea but very badly done!

I just would of used the back projection screen, would work much better IMHO. It just looks rediculous on the wall, in the middle of nowhere.

At least in the old blue virtual era, they could get it right!

Please no!!

I am sick of plasma screens at the moment especially on Reprting Scotland as they have now completely ruined a good set by having to stupid plama screens instead of sidebars all because they have changed to the two presenter format.

In my view the last thing we need is plasma screens on the six o'clock too.

Think you mean the 0600-0930 weekdays, 0600-0900 weekends slot Mr Peep!

Jane Hill and David Robertson were a real 'alternative' combination to Breakfast News on BBC One!
