I bet it's kind of a let down when you visit these massive looking sets, and they turn out not to be so large after all…

tell me about it... I saw what the Generation Game actually looks like off camera and its tiny! again with the use of the camera they make it look like a theatre size but its really no bigger than what the BBC News set looks like on camera

Alek, if you turned up at MSNBC's HQ in Fort Lee I suspect they would give you a tour of the place, although with security as it is at the moment going now may be a little tricky. Most networks will let you have a look around. It's probably best to phone first and check whether or not they give tours, rather than turning up on the day and be expected to just taken around the place.

CNN do give tours, starting in the CNN Atrium, next to the CNN Shop. I was allowed to wander about myself, though. I took my employee pass Wink Not sure how keen they were on it, but nobody stopped me.

Slightly off-topic, but I think that the national news should have a reminder of the headlines in the middle of the bulltin. That way we can have a nice tag!!

Yeah, I think they should too! Smile

Going back to the sizes of studios. Whenever you see a presenter presenting the news on BBC News 24 the studio actually looks rather large, I think it's the behind 'centre' that does it. But when you see the titles at --:30 after they come back from their short break and you see the presenters quietly talking it just goes to show how small the studio itself actually is.

Anyone agree with this?

That happens on the one o'clock and six o'clock, but it's what's coming up rather then a reminders of the headlines as the presenters say on BBC WORLD.
