Is it just me or in the newsroom in the background there is red wall of tvs was that always there?

The News Centre has recently had all its walls painted with BBC NEWS-style china red.  The reason it hasnt been appearing before today is because they were using an old looping of the news center on the two projectors/plasma screens behind the presenter.  Obviously now they are using live (almost, time delayed slightly) images of the News Centre again.

spell british my fellow comrade, we are not americans here.

Maybe Asa could add the word color to the swear word list to make it change to colour and similar.

I like the new National look, more china red, brilliant stuff, I hope they have different titles with a nice red cross with BBC NEWS on it, like BBC World has got, and hopefully a world style vamp!

I'm suprised that some saddos who have nothing better to do havnb't complained that the red cross on BBC World is promoting Christianity.

I wouldn't like it to come to the national news, it must be different, let's just hope a certain music ala robots isn't used.

Wow, nice, pretty, but where's the sidebar? They only just made a new sport one and now there not using them, i find that hard to belive.

I think I like it.

I'm not overly keen on the shot of the newsroom with that metal thingy, still looks boring. The side shot looks very nice indeed.

I did say new lighting and a new desk on page 2, and they've unsurprisingly arrived. And the beige has finally been broken down with those red panels.

I think I'm going to have to wait to actually see it on TV before making an sort of decisions.

They may have redecorated the newsroom but they still haven't changed the frosted glass on the first floor, with the stripes and crosses on it from the News 24 flags era.

Didn't get to see it yet, looking forward to later.. The pics look great

Yeah, I guess since widescreen came along, the sidebars have looked not very good at all....

I like the pics ppl have put on the thread of it, it dosen't look to bad. U know the other day when it was the George Harrison tribute ON BBC TWO, when they used the NEWS 24 Buisness studio bit, all the banging that was going on must have been in the National news studio or one of the other ones as the BBC have been fiddling with all their news recently, anyway I'll be watching the 5:05 broadcast!http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/cheesy.gif
