Looks like the new virtual reality set that BBC news are working on...
Some teething problems I think Smile

This is just a thought but perhaps its because of all the logo type re-brandings, (the box in the corner) that the [B/B/B] NEWS Bit is going and a new look to go with it? cos think about it bbc one, two, three and four most probally having the logos in little boxes and the news in the middle, it would look odd, so they are probally getting ready to rbe brand it all.

One other thing I noticed about the 'virtual studio' is that they even rembers in enclude the little bump along the lino behind the desk (when all the cable run out of the desk)

The difference of the studio is not only hard to notice but also questioning in one's mind. Take the colour of the newsdesk for example, how odd it should be that pinky colour! Perhaps the lighting wasn't quite right.

Anyhew, we'll have to wait and see what tonight's BBC News will be like - a bright yellow interior with an orange desk perhaps? Who knows...

I think that they'll be making a push for ratings.

First they'll use the World Today music. Now as we all know that tune sounds robotics so the BBC are actually moving most of the studio around so they can have a troup of scantily cald robotics with big tits and six packs to dance to the tune

This will bring viewers in to see hot robotic bodies.

Or maybe they're just faffing with the furniture.

I remember something now that *might* be to do with the use of a virtual CSO set for the BBC ONE national news over this weekend.

A few months ago, the editor of the BBC News at 10 said he wanted to make the 10 O Clock News 'have a different approach and idea to the news from other bulletins'. One idea which was to have come into effect was an investigations unit specifically for the BBC News at 10. This was postponed after September 11, because the BBC needed more money and resources to cover the War in Afghanistan.

He suggested that their might be a new studio, or modification of the existing studio for the 10 O Clock News.

Just a thought....

Erm, I will be watching then, let's hope they give the national set, a nice re-vamp, eg world headlines style bed, a sting for sport etc etc!

Now we know that something is definately happening, can't NickyS come out of the woodwork again and tell us exactly what will be changed.

Hmm. The 21.55 programme looked seriously wierd. The 'Live' aston seemed totally wonky with the word in the bottom left hand corner of the red box. The placenames aston seemed really low and for viewers not watching in widesreen, it didn't even fit on screen. The background image is really poor quality. A terrible image. The desk is PURPLE!

My guess is that its coming from somewhere near the Breakfast studio, as they are using the Breakfast chairs. Therefore they may be using the Breakfast gallery? Do they have different positions for the location bar?

Were there different sport side bars used? I saw two different ones. One at the beginning, one at the end. The one at the end looked particularly 'WORLD'ish. Never seen that sport presentation before either. That spinning football and wotnot.
