That is loads better but could they try making it a bit smaller? I think they are listening to us because not only of the sidebar but also the view of the news centre has been altered (It was altered before today I know), to stop us seeing that nice flags glass!

These changes actually now make the inset / sidebar look as if it is a plasma screen built into the wall, which IMO looks far better.

Well with any luck the blind drunk who created the 'ladder' has since been shot! Sorry to whoever it was the 'designed' it, but it really was awful!!

Yes it does look better than before.  Just one thing though - the sides of the sidebar seem to be not quite straight, might be just my set though.  Other than that, I've very impressed with the new set - it's certainly warmed up the look of the studio and it seems more friendly somehow now!

Welcome to the forum!
Whinging train-spotters? Nah, you've got us all wrong. Train-spotters?? We're presentation enthusiasts. Wink

It wasn't you that designed it, was it? If so, I apologise on behalf of Mark's comments Smile

Cheers, Asa

Nicholas Davey, if we are boring you why have you gone to the bother to register on here, fool.

Anyway, it is much nicer, I actually like it now, see the border was just too fat, all it needed was to slim down really.

I'm sorry Nick, can i call you call you nick, good. I'm sorry if we're boring you, but why the hell did you join the forum, if you are just going to mock it. This Morning forum is for mocking - this forum is for discussions on television presentation. You may find it boring, you may find television presentation boring, you find this forum boring, but what bores me more are people who join forums sheerly for the fun of it, having nothing to do during their unemployed day, now that This Morning has turned c**p and Richard and Judy are like a pair of stunned chickens on Ch 4ds 'This Morning'
Honestly mate, make a valid point, or go.

Blimey, you lot are uptight. I think Mr Davey has a very valid point. This endless pedantic nit picking over trivial details of a news studio is pretty pathetic. I have only gone to the trouble of registering to this site because all my tv news work colleagues and I find it hysterical to see your petty discussions about such unimportant details. The comment about the news presenter using a 'breakfast' chair was particulary entertaing. Just so you can all sleep at night it was used because it was the Breakfast studio that was being used and no one could be arsed to carry a 'news' chair halfway round the building. Get a life. The colour of a news presenters chair is NOT important. It is about NEWS not bloody chair colours.
thank you and goodbye.

Ps I have just seen that the 6 briefing sting did not fit the plasma in the last bulletin BUT before you all post with your outraged comments REMEMBER; THINGS LIKE THIS ARE NOT IMPORTANT. Unfortunate yes but NOT IMPORTANT.
