Well I like it, The whole image of the newsroom looks better, as does those silver coloured corners around the edge of the 'window'
The newsroom seems to looks a lot more impressive, as we can now see higher and the roof beginning
Interesting to see Isobel Lang doing the weather in the studio.
The new screen looks to give a better picture than the previous one. During the weather in the 6 the picture always looked a bit poor.
(which was probably why during the 1 and Sunday 10 the weather was done via the screen in the usual weather centre)
Finally, it seems circular desks are out of fashion with the BBC
- First the Look North Tri-Circular desk
and now the BBC News Bi-Circular desk!
Both were works of art!
Is it me or is that new screen, a bit wider than 16:9 ?
Well, firstly great job with the studio, a class act all the way, from the use of recorded images for the news room (whilst it was 'china reded'), to the CSO and now the studio itself, the appearance of the flags glass is great. But the sidebar (and i'll call it a sidebar Mr Potter because its been known as that for over 6 months here on the forum and long may it continue (anyway we'll just get into a DOG/BUG debate anyway)), but HIDEOUS, either revert to how it was before (admitedly with a few changes to mould it into the studio, or go with MDTA's mock which is great. Very good but loose the sidebar edges, and while your at it the taller image. Oh and bring the old desk back it was much nicer, and suited the studio.

I think having the weather presenter there works well... the studio is very small but looks a bit bigger than the other one maybe... I like the way the weather presenter walks forward to talk to Peter and then back towards the screen which yes looks loads clearer - as do the backdrop of the newsroom screens.
