Well I like the new look, the sidebar is quite good, it will mean that the BBC NEWS with the website bit will look more clearer on screeen, rather then mixed in with the picture, however why did they bring in the News 24 desk, they should have kept the old one, what was wrong with it!

I hate that News 24 desk, it's in every BBC News programme now, in some shape or form, thank goodness for BBC World, at least they have something different.
I thought there were going to be new titles, oh well!
Sky News a week? That's a laugh - at least a few months!

I like the new design, its good to have a nice change.
I dont mind the new sidebars. They look a bit weird, but they are a nice departure from the norn (the mocks are pretty boring IMHO).
If they arnt popular they can always change (they already have - early beige studio pics have the sidebar pitctures combined with a BBC News graphic, making it look like there in the radio waves).
Ok, time for my say. I initially got excited at lunchtime, but having seen the teatime bulletin, the whole thing was let down for me by that dreadful side bar (I call it a ladder, because that's what it reminds me of).
Nobody does borders anymore, sidebars should blend in and not be too obvious. IMO, they had the perfect side bar before that blended into the wall and wasn't too fussy. That is hideous.
I am too disappointed that the '8' shaped desk has gone, to be replaced by the oval desk, that desk certainly had character, I wonder what they've done with it now, probably in Greg Dykes office for when pretends to be Huw Edwards.
Also, the big screen, although they've improved the lighting and the look of the studio on that side, I think I preferred the screen when it was part of the wall, it looks very stuck on to me like that. I wonder if they'll still do the weather from that screen ?
Not bad I suppose, however I am being careful not to be over generous to the BBC.

You've got to be aware of how fashions change - the fashion now seems to be moving towards block colour. Fading and transitions are becoming less popular. The studio's been rejuvenated - the sidebar LOOKS GREAT!
