Re: Clocks going back. No, I don't think other countries do put their clocks back. We introduced it in World War One.
Well the whole of europe puts their clocks forward, as does the USA and Canada. China also changes their clocks, although at a different time than we do. Parts of Australia and New Zealand also put their clocks forward in summer though of course this starts in October and ends in March. It means that in our summer there are 11 hours differance between us and Auckland, where as now they are thirteen hours ahead
Well it was there. Even if it didn't start until 1'15' past the top of the hour, so we just got normal News24 titles

BBC News specials are still being shown on BBC World, with Phillipa Thomas in the Washington Studio, and Lyse Ducette in Islamabad. Lately though they don't use any titles... they just go into the main stories. Also during breaks 15 minutes into the show, the BBC News generic stings are played...
I'm a bit lost now, does anyone know what times the specials are going out at - the only one I've seen in the last few days is the 1700 GMT one! There doesn't seem to be one at 1200 GMT or 2000/2100 GMT

According to this weeks broadcast, the 30 mins news programme that will go out on BBC4 will also go out on BBC World. It will start on World and join BBC4 when it launches in March.
