BBC News Pre-Launch Promo

It says on thetvroom.com homepage that they are going to change the graphics. Any hint of that? Is it true?

Why would they need to if they're not changing the set?

I thought they were going to make a few modifications to the set, so that the other side of the set also had a screen, or am I way off the mark?

It dont give any hint of any setups the ad. Im recording every BBC program Junction to see if it comes on!

If the studio changes, they'll hopefully use the virtual one, remember when they used it while the current studio "mods" were being done.

ah, the purple glow. They obviously used that weather set for it. Why can't they fix those light? grrrrrrr.

No I dont think it was, it was used while the extra red was added to the studio. It looked really good (the virtual one) even the desk was virtual, unfortunatly I've been unable to find any pics of it. It wasn't CSO'ed because they used the normal high shot that fades from the titles.

yes but if it was "virtual" then it would be CSO'ed. The cameras never moved though so it was possible. I think the desk was moved was it not as it was sent along to CBBC afterwards

I've watched every junction on both BBC One and BBC Two since but it hasn't been on. Does anybody know if there is more than just the one with Sophie and George in. Like, will there be one with Huw and Fiona in?

I know it hasn't!!! Ive been recording everyone. I was about to record that junction after Film 2002, as Im capturing Idents, but i forgot to press Stop after the junction into Film 2002, so i had to rewind and just as I pressed Stop it came on, I heard Sophie and looked and though of f00k!!!!!! Please believe me, I did see it.

It did look very specific to those two so i doubt that Huw & Fiona would do a similar one - its not an interchangeable format.

LOL -- I saw this trail at about 9am this morning, and was going to post about it, but didn't think anyone was interested! Seems like everyone's keen.

It was in the morning BBC TWO schedule, so the nations were coming from London -- so I don't know if there's a BBC ONE Wales branded version of the trail.

It was quite a nice little trail and it does indeed feature Sophie and George telling us about how much they value the responsibility of the news -- was a bit bizarre George watiching himself on TV. George wants to be your friend, someone you can trust, and Sophie can't live without the news and can't switch off -- so it's all very sincere.. Some caps ~
