Have you ever noticed any mistakes on BBC News, BBC News 24, BBC World, etc.?
BBC World often have mistakes with their BBC News ident. Sometimes, they miss of the start (with the two lines over the globe) and sometimes play the music but not the tune - it's good when they do that because the picture is just on the aerial view of the news desk - you can see what the presenter is doing while the music is usually playing!

The funniest mistake EVER has to be Chris Eakin and that other woman, who opens the program by saying 'Welcome to BBC News 25' and Chris Eakin responds by saying 'Cor, An extra hour! Blyme! Tut!'
I absolutely love the clip where the man who drops the pen jumps over the desk on BBC News 24 , its so funny to see such a silly prat-like thing such as jumping over a table to be on a serious news programme like BBC News 24.
u should see the collection we have at work that didn't make it on to Auntie's Bloomers! Classic one of a cleaner with a feather duster cleaning behind the set while Clarence is reading the news!
Before BBC Breakfast began in October 2000, BBC News 24 resumed their normal transmission. But when it was approaching 8.00 am, the countdown got stuck at 22 seconds and remained their until 8.00 am where at that time David Robertson began to read the morning headlines.
It was very funny, but very weird.

George Allagiah was once presenting the 9'O Clock News when he talked to the wrong camera after a report. He realised after a few seconds, turned to the correct camera and said 'sorry' in a really sarcastic voice. Very funny!

I witnessed the famous power-loss the BBC had last year, which caused all sorts of problems. Now that was entertainment!
mostly at the end there is a mistake (not every day). The edition of Wednesday April the 4th shows at the end a view into the studio after the end-titles.
(Be quick, bacause tonight the BBC will upload an other version).

Prehaps you could capture these clips and send them to Asa?
it would be great if u could.
Well I saw Anita McNaught swear on BBC World, this happened a few months ago, on a Sunday afternoon, Anita was clearly not ready, she was saying to control 'Why aren't you guys talking to me?', then she must have looked at the clock and realised that they were on air, and it was then she said 'Oh ****', then we saw a static BBC News slide(the one used on the screen), then the schedule and 20 seconds later, she carried on as normal!
Fantastic cockup on Newsroom South-East on 15/1/01:
First report at 6.30 was about certain schools down to a four day week. The report starts but with horrible sound and continues for about 20secs but then seems to sort itself out but we fade into Mike Embley, who obviously
didn't have a clue what was going on and kept looking down for a few seconds before turning to the wrong camera, apologising for 'gremlins in the
system', then apologising for looking in the wrong camera, then shuffling some papers, then saying we can...no, can't....go back to the report, then saying 'just give me a minute'(!) while shuffling through more papers then going on to a different report. It was great to watch how unprepared and how annoyed he was!
