Something very different on the BBC @ 6 just now.

Hazel Irvine anchoring the sport from SW19 said: 'now let's check the latest score from Centre Court'

normally that would involve a graphic . . . BUT

BUT . . . they showed the LIVE tennis action for about 15 seconds.

Not seen a news programme do that since Sky News a couple of years back when the scum (Arsenal) were about to win the Premiership & Sky simulcast the final minute from Sky Sports.

The graphic showing the presenter & the action said:

SKY CENTRE SKY SPORTS

They did it last night (or night before) as well I think. I presume it was a simulcast of BBC Two as it was the other night - I was reading the forum and not watching the screen!

I don't watch BBC News often

Sad to say I do...as you can probably guess from the forum! BBC for main bulletins (ie. 1, 6, 10) but Sky for rolling news.

I watch N24 more than I watch BBC main news.

In the morning if I've watched 1/2 of Sunrise, I'll watch Breakfast

n24 can run dry sometimes but then they all do on some days where there isnt much big news so yesterdays get dragged out.

Yes, I agree, but surely Sky News runs dry at times. This hasn't been the case in the past with the back half hour programmes but with them being effectively scrapped from today I suspect it will be the same. Interesting to hear David Foster say at the end of Money at 11.30am today that they will be taking a 'break'!
