It's not a specific thread. The subject is in a thread. Don't know where though. Maybe one of the Moderators know.

The BBC News Interactive service will be part of News 24 and is scheduled for launch in the autumn.

Has anyone got a URL of a website/page which has details of BBC News 24 Interactive? I want to see if it'll be available on Telewest Active Digital.

Will N24 interactive have streaming video though?
I haven't heard about the BBC buying up any more space to provide video feeds, so perhaps it's just going to be a text service?

I know Sky are upgrading Sky News Active to 'phase 2', with the extra video, but have heard nothing about the Beeb offering video screens.
ITN don't, from what I know, but still call their service Interactive.

ITN Interactive on Telewest is simply like the webpage. It just has the news - no video footage or live footage (unless you're watching the ITN News Channel) and that would be in the top right hand corner.

When the BBC get their new interactive service up and running, it'd be war: Sky News Interactive V BBC News Interactive.

I'm sure it will be good, we'll have to start a poll which is the best when it's up and running. Smile

As mentioned on the other thread, the Beeb have the space used partly by interactive services like Wimbledon and the Golf allowing 4+ streams to be possible.
