ITV are at an advantage because they generally have better access to TV equipment. The BBC has TV correspondents and local radio correspondents but it often has difficulties in getting to stories because it doesn't have specialist TV news teams in as many cities as ITV does.

Not nessasarily Dave, 99% of the local radio stations have at least a TV reporter and crew dedicated to it ...

Yes, he moved to Sky replacing Gary Cotteril, who moved to Sky Centre.

dont forget the beebs tvc is near ealing where as sky are in middlesex so it depends on where there report response vehicles are at the time.
