I find C4 News unwatchable. This analytical malarkey is beyond me.

Well, it's the way the new look News 24 will be placing itself, and I think it will be refreshingly different from Sky and ITV, especially in terms of appearing repetitive for large portions of the day.

I think any objective person would realise that in terms of trust, the Forlong incident on Sky News begs many more questions than what Gilligan may or may not have done (wait for the full report of the Hutton Inquiry on that one). Of course the Forlong story made much less of an impact in news reporting (ironically due to the death of Dr. David Kelly) and will now receive little further coverage due to the equally tragic events that followed.

I think Radio 4 and particularly 'Today' are becoming largely ostracised by 'BBC News' in general, and I'm not sure that in the long term trust in the BBC will be lost, even if listeners leave 'Today' in their droves (and frankly I don't blame them).

Im one small of a very large team which worked on the design for the new BBC News 24 look.

I think youll be disappointed with the new look - its very similar to the old look. Dont ask me what the music is like as Ive not heard it.

Dont pin your hopes on a move away from ivory and red.

Obviously you made the tea for the team, as I rather doubt that someone with your intelligence would be entrusted with any greater responsibility. This thread, as you obviously haven't noticed, has nothing to do with the new look for N24, so perhaps you could go and continue your tedious and unconvincing charade in the other, more relevant thread.

Note
Could all parties wishing to impersonate BBC insiders please establish a single concatenated identity? This will lend greater credibility to your efforts, especially if you have a talented designer like Ian (Big Brother) to assist you with creating oh-so-convincing screenshots 'smuggled out' of Television Centre.

Put your claws away, BBC LDN.

Ive never claimed to work for the BBC. If youre really a BBC insider, youll know that design work is done by outside contractors.

I did put my post in the wrong thread. It has now been moved.

1. I mentioned nothing about you working at the BBC; I referred to you as a "BBC insider" to abbreviate the otherwise lengthy term of "insider working on the BBC NEWS 24 project".

2. Not entirely sure what your rather arsey comment about me "really being a BBC insider" is; show me where I've claimed to be a BBC insider, and I'll respond - otherwise, keep these nonsensical comments to yourself.

3. One doesn't have to be a BBC insider to know that the BBC contracts out much of its design work; we're all familiar with the work of the likes of Lambie Nairn and 4-2-2.

I work for neither of those companies. It is a different agency which got this work.

The Sun went against the BBC, so therefore so did many of readers. (Many of whom have no opinion of their own)

I didn't actually think that anybody reads the Sun, they "read" it.

Congratulations, although I don't believe I actually stated a belief or assertion that you worked for either company anyway.
