I'm looking forward to see if there is a remix of the new BBC News theme. I was a particular fan of the last music used for things like the French Elections.

Some very impressive election coverage on BBC News at the moment. There is a special on World/N24 with presenters in Madrid and Moscow and correspondents everywhere.

I really am looking forward to the US election in November, I think we can expect some excellent coverage from the UK news channels, as opposed to being shocked and awed by the likes of CNN/NBC/ABC/CBS with all of their wizz bang pop broadcasting.

Or as, CNN was calling it a few moments ago...
Eplections,
quickly changed, although there no contest, im going to win.

On a slightly different subject, is it just me or do american news presenters come across as extremly stupid, oh and gerish

The dreadful Gill Sans Extra Bold 'iraq' logo that was previously used on the Iraq War blob that sat above the clock during the previous N24 look has returned for today's "Iraq - One Year On" commemmorations.

It's being used as a full-screen animation with the swirls in the background, as well as on other relevant graphics. Doesn't look quite as ridiculous as it did when it was first introduced, but it's an unfortunate juxtaposition of 'iraq' in Gill Sans Extra Bold and 'ONE YEAR ON' in Swiss 721. Eugh.

Have they replaced the computer the ticker runs from?

It seems to be running smoothly during PMQ's today

Not sure if it’s just the TV I’m watching it on but the blue seems to be a little different today

Any news on the remaining projector screens being sorted? The one used behind presenters when standing looks great now, but the others still look washed out.

Is the nationals studio background a projector or a CSO? I thought it was a projector, but George's see through tie is making me wonder...
