It was from a banana shaped desk in the middle of that arc of projectors

That's it's normal set! It was introduced in January 2004, and is still in the corner of N9.

ah right, it looked too big to be a corner of N9, and that ring of projectors reminded me of the way the Breakfast set has been redressed for In The Know, Working Lunch etc - I'll admit it's the first time I've seen The World since the relaunch.

Yeah, the space available is incredibly small, yet on camera it looks big! The magic of television!

Excuse me Hymagumba, but I'm not a troll. I was only asking and thats all that matters. Now if u excuse me, I must get back to work!

Ermm, may I inquire what type of work one does at 8:15PM? As well as why you are "surfing the net" at all whilst *at work* ?

Many people browse this forum while at work, especially as many readers are in the broadcasting industry. As for why someone would be working at 20.15...ever heard of shifts?

Ever thought I was joking! It was fairly obvious I was, as I was at home when I made the post

Do people like the silver 24, it's a little small and not very well animated!

I'm not sure whether this should be in the 50 years thread but BIG MOIRA is doing a special report on the role of women newsreaders. The report is being shown during today's Breakfast.

The News 24 homepage has now been updated with the new graphics. I wonder when or if BBC World will update their graphics.

There's still a lot of the old orange graphics on News 24. Some of the trails end with the orange/yellow ident, plus the swirly ribbons between the headlines are orange, as they are on the projector screen in the studio. I know the trails will eventually be remade, but it looks a bit inconsistent at the mo.

Also, have the night-time titles/stings been changed for the World/N24 simulcast?

So Simon did Breakfast this morning - does this mean a Bill/Sian SIX? Does Bill permanently do Fridays' SIXes now?
