Not being a moaner, but woulkd it be a good idea if we had a new thread when News 24 does decide to grace us with a relaunch?

This is already nearly 100 pages long, imagine it when News 24 relaunches..

Perhaps this could be renamed the 'BBC News 24 Pre-launch Thread' and the new one 'The Relaunched BBC News 24 Thread'?

Just an idea peeeeeps.

That's been suggested, and will happen.

Geocities doesn't allow remote linking, therefore whatever image that is, it doesn't work.

A new thread will be created on the day for reaction of the re-launch.

I do hope they sort out the clock on Breakfast though. When you watch it on News 24, they overlay a larger clock onto the Breakfast feed and it looks quite bad:

Perhaps they should just turn News 24's clock off during Breakfast (and just use the one from the Breakfast feed), or at least make it slightly smaller.

Do we agree/think that with the News 24 relaunch, we'll little changes been made to some other BBC News output, such as the BBC One news graphics, and even eventually BBC World? It seems to me that the reason why everything looks like it has been half done (i.e. the semi//partial changes to News 24, countdown etc and the lack of new titles on the BBC One news progs) happened because they realised that they needed to rebrand News 24 halfway thru and thought they might as well do it all together...

HOPE SO... we'll have LOADS to talk about!!!

Might just be me, but the 10.57 weather seemed live or either it was just well scripted. The weather presenter doesn't normally thank the news anchor in person do they?

Not wanting to drag this off topic (oh what the hell), but why would you say "dodgy hair day" when your link come from your Salon's website?

Nice pictures though.

Well there were 60+ pages when the National relaunched its studio,
I'm betting we see 100+ if a lot of different things happen on the 1st of December, i'm also betting that this place crashes at least once.

I think some weather broadcasts on News 24 are still live. Although it usually seems to be when the next weather presenter comes on shift.

Off topic abit. I think once the topic has got to pg 100. I think it should be closed and re-started. It is a pain to catch up on this forum with 100 pages to browse through!

I've lost counts how often we've had this discussion...

New thread for reaction when News 24 relaunches.

when you log onto the forum, all the theads that have got new messages on them have a little green piece of paper with an arrow. If you click on that little picture, it will take you straight to the first new post of that thread, so you don't have to wade through all the pages...

just a little tip for you! Wink
