What do I want News 24 to be:

Informative and sexy!

No, I think he wants Natasha K and her dazzling pins to make a more regular appearance on the BBC!

I'd like N24 to be as camp as christmas. I want there to be a curvy white desk with 3 big drawers, I want there to be a nice big computer screen on the desk with a big camp 'V' on it, I want there to be a big audience, and I want the presenter to be really camp, wearing a flowered-curtain suit, and have blonde highlights in his hair.

Or, I could just turn over to Channel 4 right about now...

As it looks like the BBC are treating this as a relaunch of BBC News24 rather than a tweak do people think that its likely that there will be any promotion of the new look prior to the day of the relaunch?

I should hope so.

BBC News with Manisha Tank followed by
BBC News with Natasha Kaplinsky then
BBC News with Jules Botfield before more
BBC News with Mishal Husain and then yes more
BBC News with Geeta Guru Murthy and finally
BBC News with Tanya Beckett.
