If he's like me, then he probably only smiles when he wants something.

I'm not just saying this, but what 24-insideouter has posted and is saying goes complete against what my sources in the BBC have said. And what is more bizarre is that my other sources were all saying the same thing, whereas 24-insideouter is the only one who contradicts this...

As well pres change, will there be any changes in the scheduling of News 24?

RTS posted:
Does anyone know if News 24 will have a real video-wall, like Sky, or will they keep there fake CSOd one.

I heard it open with an 'explosion'.

so:

1. What exactly do your much vaunted 'sources' know?

2. What have you revealed that wasn't already previously disclosed by someone else in the thread?

I'm seeing an awful lot of 'my sources know this' and 'I've heard that', but I've yet to see you to tell us something new. Even your "I heard it open with an 'explosion'" was mentioned a few pages earlier in the thread. So, shut me up once and for all - what exactly do you know about the N24 relaunch that hasn't been told to us already, and if - as I suspect is the case - you actually know nothing at all, could you possibly stop this tedious charade of pretending that you're more knowledgeable than you are?

It's even more excruciating when somebody reveals some new detail, and you come back with "yes, i knew that, that's what my sources told me". Well bravo, but unless you're going to tell us what your oh-so-knowledgeable sources know BEFORE everyone else does, frankly we couldn't give a flying fish what they or you know, or profess to know.

*yawn*

You'd think if they're really going to completely revamp News 24, they would look at presenter patterns. I don't want to name names but some have an amazing way of inducing a narcoleptic sombie trance when they're on. A bit like BBC LDN's posts really. *joke*

It will also be interesting so see how they make News 24 have a quicker pace, while still being able to say they're the most accurate out of other news channels.

Mmm very. I also wonder if that poor man who has been working overtime in the backgroud on the CSO studio is still alive on the relauch. Laughing

I think you are all being very nasty to Row. His sources could be the contributions in this thread for all you know!

It's interesting how he didn't dignify it with an answer though.

RTS and BBC LDN -- I know you've had your differences in the past, so move the discussion to PM. RTS has described in a rather lengthy "Report This Post" that he does indeed have high sources at the BBC, and on the news set as well. Regardless, RTS, you have to realise that without dropping names, and this being a questionably-credible internet forum, that the journalist in all of us will want to get to the bottom of who you say your sources are. Moreover, the manner in which you present your evidence is vague and shaky, and I would expect no less a response if I were to post similar information.

So, again, please move the discussion to PM, and that way perhaps you can trade information that you might not otherwise want to in public, and possibly resolve this issue. But any more sniping and I might have to split the thread before your argument began and hand out warnings. I just have to figure out how to do that. Wink

Back on topic, if you please.
