They've had long enough!

Well I seem to remember someone recieving an e-mail from someone at BBC News saying that there were new titles on their way, at least to the national programmes. I'd imagine there will be new titles for News 24 at the same time, to fit in. And the relaunch of the channel would be the ideal time to start using the new style titles on all of the BBC News output.
OK, BBC News isn't exactly renowned for its logic in rebrands/titles/studios/graphics/everything, but I think (and hope!) that they have thought this one through!

The BBC One bulletins will almost definetly get new titles, they're long overdue.
and
Perhaps, it does look quite similar to the daytime titles, perhaps BBC News is taking this route.

Is the logo shown on the plasma screen at some points in the 1/6/10 bulletins any clue as to the new look?

I'm wondering how BBC staff know how the set will look - are there set drawings available or has a model been made?
So will it be one of those 'wow thats impressive' relaunches or 'oh dear theyre just not with it'... ??
I'm inclined to think that it will be a good relaunch because, as mentioned by most, they have had plenty of time. BBC News 24 has had a lot of criticism so a lot on the future of News24 depends on the relaunch + they have had plenty of ideas from various sources such as this forum, Sky News (no doubt) and designers i guess!

Its possible the logo on the projectors are just a stopgap until the new titles debut, as the old titles wouldn't match the new nationals set.

[quote="c@t]I do hope they just drop the "BBC" from it all and start calling it "News 24", it sounds so much better.[quote]
Why should they? The BBC make the channel, and so should have their name in the channel name. Would you prefer that ITV News Channel became the 'News Channel', and Sky News became 'News'?
