Have N24 forgotten to bring their graphics machines to the temporary set! I’ve been watching since 1000 and as martinDTanderson said there’s no LIVE dog, no info straps, the only graphic I’ve seen is the split screen which seems have a strange black bar at the top. This is obviously a temporary technical problem but I’d imagine the people in the N24 hierarchy must be feeling slightly frustrated this morning, hardly a seamless transition!
People are slagging off CSO'd sets, but remember the previous BBC News set was more or less completely CSO - including most of the desk! And how many years was that for?
Does look poo though!
Are we go for a Monday November 24th relaunch then?
Has Adrian presented on N24 before? I don't think I've ever seen him on it. Doesn't Philip Hayton normally do it and Adrian stays on BBC World?
Is this a start for World presenters on N24?
Adrian has done News 24 before, but quite a long time ago now IIRC. I think he's just filling in for Phil. Didn't Adrian used to do N24 during the flags era? I remember him on overnight a few years ago.

Adrian used to be a regular presenter on N24 (he did overnights for ages). He's been on World for a while now - just helping out to fill in on N24 at the moment.
I expect that even the most casual viewer would notice that something isn't right. It's all too bright and fake looking, they really shouldn't use the wide shot, you can see the fuzzy line around the keyboards, the papers, and the presenters.
They should stick to tight close up shots, like the ITVNC, you can't usually tell when that's being CSO'd.
Perhaps they'll build a proper background next weekend while they're in the World newsroom. They know that everything works now, just need to sort out a real set.

Well, that
was
the national news program, and so they would have spent umpteen days/weeks perfecting the lighting (and the whole system in general of course).
Also, the whole set was blue, thus completley negating the worry of having a very visible blue tinge to everything - because everything should have a blue tinge anyway!
